An international freedomDANCE teacher.

My first powerful experience of unity through conscious movement happened in Kyiv in 2015. I was five months pregnant, taking part in an open session of Planetary Dance, inspired by Anna Halprin and guided by my first teacher, Alex Svoboda. At one point, I sat in the middle, surrounded by moving circles of dancers — and something profound happened.

Inside my body, I felt the same spirals of movement through my daughter, Gayatri, who was growing inside me. In that moment, I understood unity — not only between people and bodies, but the unity of life itself, pulsing through all of us.

Since then, dance has become my meditation, my way of living, my prayer and a language for inner and outer transformation. Through freedomDANCE, I explore how movement, sound, and awareness meet — and how they can reveal the invisible rhythm of life.

I build each session through movement, creating pathways that move from grounding to intensity and finally to release. In this way, dance becomes a living dialogue between emotion, memory, and freedom.

At this stage of my journey, in my 40s and living in London, I am deeply interested in the art of collecting and composing modalities — as a bridge between the body and consciousness, between movement and meaning.

I am also an Event Circle member of ICMTA and organiser of the last Teachers Gathering in Belgrade, where teachers from around the world met to share practice and presence through dance.

Wherever I go, I bring my practice with me — creating spaces where people can rediscover the intelligence of their bodies and the freedom of being fully alive.
