AWAKEN THE DANCER

We dance to wake up!
The invitation in this class will be to awaken into the flow of our dance - from our heartbeat and blood pumping around every cell and muscle of this physical body to the gaps in-between the shapes we make, and the next step we take between the beats in the soundscape of music.
Do you choose to be comfortable, convenient, and conventional. To awaken the dancer is to shake things up, to throw the cards on the table - sometimes not comfortable, not convenient or conventional. To dance on a Sunday morning, when the rest of the world is sleep-walking.
This class stands alone and will be complete, plus also serves as a warm-up for our on-going gathering ‘The Invitation’ seminar series (19,20,27 March)…. A fD synthesis of movement/dance and Mindfulness.
